        Audiences in the United States may not be familiar with Khachame, but the 19-year-old French TikTok and Instagram influencer has cooked and slurped her way into the hearts of thousands and thousands of followers with her veganized, Asian-influenced recipes. In her first cookbook, she focuses on noodles and starts by helping the home cook build a pantry with store-bought staples and homemade vegan substitutes such as vegan "oyster sauce." The visual glossary of noodles, seaweeds, and spices is a wonderful addition. Recipes are divided by technique, from stir-fries to soups, and cover cuisines from across Asia. Dishes are mainly practical for quick and easy lunches or dinners, but readers looking for a challenge will also find more complex dishes such as pho and shoyu. All deliver big flavor. The photography is delectable and reflects Khachame's vibrant personality. This is a great purchase for library shelves because of its versatility and will appeal to home chefs with a wide spectrum of cooking experience. VERDICT Khachame successfully creates delicious vegan versions of Asian noodle favorites, but ultimately, she reminds readers that cooking is fun and inspires them to enjoy time in the kitchen.--Sarah Tansley
