青铜时代·寻找无双（Looking for Wushuang (Age of Bronze))

小说的主要内容写一个叫王仙客的青年男子来到长安城的宣阳坊寻找失散多年的青梅竹马的表妹也就是未来媳妇无双的过程。王仙客来到宣阳坊，发现患有集体失忆症的宣阳坊人无法回忆起宣阳坊曾经就是无双姑娘的家，却用记忆找出了这个院子曾存在过一个杀死了自己婢女彩萍的名为鱼玄机的姑娘。由于听了太多的有关鱼玄机的故事，也由于无双的丫环也叫彩萍的缘故，仙客在梦境里与鱼玄机发生了性关系，但后来发现这事确实发生过，但对象不是鱼玄机而是无双的丫环彩萍。随即王仙客将扮成无双的彩萍送回宣阳坊用以激活宣阳坊人的记忆。有了正确回忆的宣阳坊人帮助王仙客了解到无双的去向：掖庭宫。于是王仙客继续他未完的旅程，因为寻找无双是他终身的事业。故事在亦真亦幻中演进，曲折而离奇，既具一种荒诞的真实性，而真实中又有一种荒诞性，这使得文本极具可读性。本集中也收有电影文学剧本和舞台剧本两个样式的《东宫·西宫》。讲的是有关同性恋的故事。与王小波的总体精神一致，他对同性恋的态度也是抱有一种开放和包容，给人一种新的认识。（The novel is mainly about a young man Wang Xianke's journey to Xuanyang Lane in Chang'an City. Wang Xianke was looking for his cousin Wushuang who had been missing for years. The girl, Wushuang, had been his best friend since childhood and would marry him in the future. When he arrived at Xuanyang Lane, he found that the locals had social amnesia and thus forgot Wushuang came from Xuanyang Lane. But they recalled that there was a girl named Yu Xuanji who lived in Xuanyang Lane and killed her maid Caiping. Affected by the numerous stories about Yu Xuanji and the same name her maid shared with Wushuang's, Xianke had a dream where he had sex with Yu Xuanji. However, he then found the dream was the reality except that the girl was Wushuang's maid instead of Yu Xuanji. Later, he sent back Caiping who disguised as Wushuang to Xuanyang Lanes so as to bring back the locals' memory. After they regained the memory, they pointed out the right destination—Yeting Palace, for him to find back Wushuang, Soon, Wang Xianke continued his trip because looking for Wushuang was his lifelong goal. The whole story is highly readable, possessing both real absurdity and absurd reality as the plots revolve around the reality and dream, full of twists and turns. In this selection, "East Palace, West Palace", the story about homosexuality is also collected including the scripts of film literature and stage play. It is quite inspiring that Wang Xiaobo shows his open-mindedness and tolerance when talking about homosexuality, which conforms to his overall attitude.)
