包青天奇案 (Justice Bao)

本书原名《百断奇观重订龙图公案》，收录宋代包拯审案断狱的短篇故事一百则。包拯民间俗称包青天，这次出版时，照通俗的说法改书名为《包青天奇案》。从艺术的角度来看，这部小说集的成就并不高。一百则短篇故事，往往是先叙述案情和诉状，后边是判词结局，各则故事之间互不相通。由于故事来源驳杂，有的来源于传统戏曲，有的来源于口头传说，有的则来源于杂记案卷，因此，写作的风格、方笔的优劣、情节的繁简、人物的形象，各篇之间不一甚一致。但总的来说，书中的包公形象基本上反映了人民于水深炎热之中切盼救星的愿望，因而受到人民的喜爱，得到广泛的流传，同时又屡遭统治者的禁毁。到了清代，经民间艺人和文人的加工创作，在这些短篇包公奇案的基础上，又出现了《龙图耳录》、《三侠五义》等长篇公案小说。本书始成于明代万历年间，因坊间辗转翻刻，版本繁多，各本之间篇目也不尽一致。这里彩用的底本，是最为通行的清嘉庆十三年李西桥作序的藻文堂刻本，另参校其他版本以补漏订论，加以标点。（The book was originally called the "One Hundred Wonders of Wonders and Revisions to the Dragon Figure," which contains 100 short stories of Bao Zheng's trial of breaking the prison in the Song Dynasty.Bao Zheng was commonly known as Justice Bao in folk.
