Black-and-white illustrations are frequent in these exciting, page-turning stories that are sure to capture the attention of both devout fantasy fans and readers looking for a starter fantasy. A dragon guide, discussion questions, writing prompts and a glossary are included in each volume, along with an article tying the story's dragon to mythology or legend. VERDICT Purchase where series such as "Dragon Masters" and the "Kingdom of Wrenly" are popular. This series is a worthy successor.
