本书前两篇的"传记"部分，从李嘉诚祖上搬迁定居潮州开始，到其父李云经违背祖训下南洋，再到他年幼时就随父迁到香港，逐渐成长为华人世界首富，全面地反映了李嘉诚家族的传奇经历，对他的个人成长经历进行了细致的描写，对他创造的商业神话进行了再现。后两篇着重分析李嘉诚的管理智慧、资本运作技法、做人原则以及运用财富的高度，并对其旗下的几位香港打工皇帝进行了详细讲述，这是以前的李嘉诚传记中看不到的内容(For the part on "biography" in the first two articles of this book, staring with the settlement in Chaozhou of Li Jiacheng under removal of ancestral place to the arrival on Southeastern Asia of his father (Li Yunjing) under violation of ancestral teaching and then to the richest man in Chinese world under gradual process and immigration to Hong Kong with his father during his childhood, the legendary experience of Li Jiacheng family is comprehensively reflected. His personal life experience is described in detail, and the commercial mythology created by him reappears. The latter two articles emphatically analyze the management wisdom, capital operation skills, personhood principle and the height of application of treasure of Li Jiacheng, and make detailed statement on several working emperors of Hong Kong in his subordinate, all of which could not be read in the previous biography of Li Jiacheng.)
